Transmission distance up to 10km!

A robust 3W 38 channel UHF CB with range up to 10km (dependant on terrain and conditions). Plus , it is equipped with a Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System (CTCSS). An inbuilt VOX circuit allows voiceactivated transmissions when used with a headset. The VOX sensitivity
can be adjusted to suit the microphone and background noise conditions. For in-car use the aerial can be removed and replaced with the X 0559 external aerial for added range. This is fitted with a magnetic base for roof mounting. Duplexing capability is inbuilt for accessing repeater stations. Includes NiMH rechargeable battery pack and mains charger. Can also be recharged with the optional X 0558 car charger.
