Product Description

A complete 12V DC power supply and battery backup in one compact lockable steel enclosure. When operating from 240V, the inbuilt DC power supply automatically charges the internal battery (available separately) and powers the connected load. When mains power fails, the load seamlessly switches and is powered from the battery. Maximum recommended battery is 7.2Ah 12V (S 5090B). Maximum connected load should not exceed 3A. The design includes a host of features including output short circuit protection, output current limiting and over voltage protection. Separate battery charging circuit with fast changeover and standby battery low voltage cutoff (10.8V). There are three conduit knockouts on the side and a slot on the rear panel for easy field wiring. Screw terminals are provided for easy termination. Indicators are provided for 240V mains, 12V DC and battery charge status. This is an ideal power solution for access control, security & alarm systems, or any other 12V DC power critical applications. Indoor use only.
