Powertran M5730C

Powertran 30 + 30 500VA Toroidal Transformer :: M5730C

Toroidal transformers are becoming increasingly popular due to their improved magnetic properties. The advantage of the toroidal (donut) shape is that due to its symmetry the amount of magnetic flux that escapes outside the core (leakage flux) is minimised, therefore it radiates less electromagnetic interference (EMI) to nearby circuits or equipment. EMI is of increasing importance in modern low power, high frequency electronics.

Toroid transformers can be made to a lower profile than a standard solenoid core transformer, allowing for equipment of similar power to be of a lower profile.
Recommended External Primary Fuse: Slow blow Littelfuse 218 Series T3.15A L250VP

Included Mounting Hardware
1 x Metal Washer: 8.5 x 90 x 1.2mm
2 x Rubber Washer: 8.5 x 120 x 1.5mm
1 x M8 x 70 Screw

Powertran M5025C

Powertran 25 + 25V 50VA Toroidal Transformer :: M5025C

These 50VA transformers will fit inside our 1 Unit 19" rack cases.

Toroidal transformers are becoming increasingly popular due to their improved magnetic properties and also that they can be made to a lower profile than a standard solenoid core transformer, allowing for equipment of similar power to be of a lower profile such as rack mounted devices.

Note:Must be used with a 1A external AC fuse.

Powertran M4630A

Powertran Powertran 15 + 15 PCB 30VA Toroidal Transformer :: M4630A

Toroidal transformers provide a higher output compared to traditional E-I transformers of a similar physical size. They have substantially reduced radiated hum and electrical noise, generate less heat and have much better regulation making them ideal for high performance, low noise circuits.

The transformer is potted in an epoxy compound within a plastic housing. Configured with 2 x 120V primaries and 2 identical secondaries which can be wired in either series or parallel. Being PCB mount reduces assembly time as the transformer simply solders to the PCB. For extra stability and mechanical reliability the transformer can be secured to the PCB with a self tapping screw.
