The SPD970 is a professional 3-megapixel speed dome network camera designed for detailed surveillance in ultra-high definition requiring precise pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities. A true day/night camera, the SPD970 features improved sensitivity backed by proprietary Lumii Technology and 3DNR to provide unprecedented low light image clarity under the cover of darkness. With up to powerful 180X zoom capability, the camera guarantees broad coverage, making itself a perfect solution for monitoring wide area and seeing distant objects. The sturdy design fittingly protects the camera against some extreme vandal and weather conditions.

 

 

 

The camera is equipped with high-sensitivity 3MP progressive scan CMOS sensor, delivering images in ultra high definition up to 2048 x 1536 at 15 frames per second. The powerful 18X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom ensure distant objects can be detected in fine details.

 

 

The camera is perfect for capturing images under highly variable lighting conditions between day and night, providing superior color images at day time and sharp, noise-free monochrome images in low light to nearly no light environment.

 

 

The 3DNR technology takes traditional DNR a step further, removing digital artifacts and grainy appearance from frame to frame, while maintaining image sharpness at low light settings, which results in more efficient bandwidth utilization and less storage space consumption.

 

 

With support for Power over Ethernet plus reduces cost and adds flexibility to the camera installation. A single cable connection is needed to view, power, and control the camera. Installation and maintenance costs are reduced since there is no need for separate cables.

 

 

Designed for deployment in challenging environments, the camera is compliant with IP67 and IK10 standards to withstand water, dust, and impacts. The built-in heater allows the camera operating in even the most extreme weather conditions for as low as -40C/F.
