PICAXE 18X Chip

The PICAXE is a new generation, easy-to-program micro controller. Unlike many eproms its Flash memory allows it to be programmed over and over again without the need of expensive UV erasers or programmers. The simple to learn and use BASIC programming language used by the FREE software makes it great for a beginner or an experienced electronic enthusiast. The software also allows for programming via flow charts for even simpler programming.

The PICAXE can read temperature and humidity sensors, control motors, do analogue to digital conversion (ADC), read infra-red remote controls, control servo's, read matrix keypads and many other things. All this makes these microcontrollers great for many projects like robotics, data loggers, clocks, alarms and many other projects.
